Great track
Lots of tee deck options to challenge any skill level. Well maintained and great service
The greens!
Great track but don’t be disappointed with a 3 putt now and then. Crazy greens-fast AND hilly!
Jim's Round at Campestre
I have played Campestre numerous times and this was the first time that there was no club cleaning equipment (water, towel etc) on the range or on the golf cart.. The golf cart I had must be one of the originals and it was noisy with lots of loose parts. The ice bucket with water was not able to fit on the bracket and as such placed in the storage rack behind the seats. As per usual the sand traps were horrible. Even teeing off at 11:20 they were wet and given the type of sand, it was more mud than sand. This is not new and I have mentioned this on every one of my reviews.
Campestre does not disappoint
Had a good round and the course was in excellent condition. Lots of sand traps with minimal sand so that was disappointing but overall a great experience.
Campreste
Excellent course with scenic views. Fairways and greens were very good. Only complaint was the sand traps with wet course sand. Definitely would play again.
First time playing in Mexico
Campestre golf was a treat, great course, shape and views. The only negative was gas powered carts with poor suspension.
Challenge
The greens are quite large bust consists of about five different areas to hit to have a chance for a birdie
Need pin sheets and course knowledge to score
Several gals front greens
Solid conditions and great staff
Course is in great shape given time of year in Cabo. Course had a great layout and some tricky greens, mostly green fairways. Price is a bit high for off-season IMO but that’s what you get with resort courses. Overall a great experience and service.
Give it a couple of weeks…
They just finished punching and sanding the greens. There is heavy sand and the ball doesn’t roll at all. The layout is pretty awesome, but the greens are almost unplayable right now.
Fun course
Cart needed a little help but course was fun and weather was perfect
Great course at a fair price
Club Campestre is a beautiful and very playable golf course. There are multiple tee options and you will enjoy this course ver much if you choose the right ones for your ability level. The views are spectacular and thr course is in excellent condition with on exception. The many bunkers on the course look well groomed but do not have enough sand in their bottoms to allow a normal explosion shot. The practice bunker is in the same condition so I suggest finding a technique that doesn't cause the club to bounce into the ball such as using a club with less bounce, like a pitching wedge, to allow it to dig under the ball.
Sanded greens
TeeOff doesn’t tell you when conditions are bad or greens are sanded. When you pay in full and get to course they tell you and advise total fees are $75 to play. Yet TeeOff charged the $175 plus fees for $203 . I feel ripped off . I need some credit back
