Fun & Challenging
The upkeep of fairways could have been better, but overall in good playing conditions. The greens were aired a few weeks before and were almost recovered, noticeable that they receive a decent regular upkeep. Local climate is dry, so if your shot lands off the fairway, most likely will be facing a bare lye or dealing with an unkept surface by design. The course layout includes a series of water cannals running across and/or along several fairways which can lead to middle-of-the-fairway shots that turn into a penalty. Holes 8, 9 and 18 play with lateral water from the adjacent lake. A classic Dye design –challenging yet balanced to different skill levels and tee marks– with few modifications, requiring the player's imagination to sort strategically placed sand traps, water bodies and natural elements along the round.
