Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club

Situated just a few minutes from Cancun between Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen, Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club takes advantage of its scenic location in the Riviera Maya. P.B. Dye, Pete's son, designed the layout. He carefully sculpted the seemingly flat landscape into a challenging golf course with extreme vertical movement. The layout features narrow fairways and undulating greens framed by deep sand traps. The non-traditional hazards are another defining characteristic of the course, the use of a rock riverbed is a good example. There is also dense jungle growth that is just waiting to swallow up errant shots. It is a tough but enjoyable layout that is enhanced even further with beautiful scenery. Since opening in 2005, it has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best golf courses in Mexico.
