Nice Layout/Very Good Condition
The pace of play was excellent and conditions were very good. Challenging layout added to an enjoyable round
Fun Course to play
Nice Nicklaus layout. Sand traps hold it back from being a five. Has nice practice areas for chipping, putting and driving range.
Aerated greens
Course layout is good with beautiful views of the ocean. The course condition was okay because of the aerated greens that was not mentioned before booking. Also this is a very windy course which makes it very tough.
Cabo golf
Club Campestre was a great day of golf, staff is amazing and they have everything you’ll need there ! I rented clubs and they were an excellent set of Callaway clubs. Get out and enjoy!!
Save your $
Course had. A water shortage and the fairways are dead. It’s too bad because the layout is pretty good. Tee boxes and fairways you can barely find green grass. The greens were in pretty good shape though and rolled fairly true
Disappointing and forgettable
I was excited to play this course having read good reviews. Unfortunately, Campestre fell well short of my expectations. First, the conditions were poor and many fairways had brown spots with no grass. Second, this course is surrounded by heavy construction and residential areas adjacent to the highway. There are no memorable holes or views. With many excellent options in Cabo, I would not recommend this one. For the price of a round at Campestre, I would have expected better overall.
Nothing good to say!
Terrible bunkers, dry fairways, and the green were the was part!
Beautiful and great layout but did not meet my expectations for the price
Beautiful and a great layout but the course did not meet my expectations for the price. Most of the fairways had some brown thin patches and the bunkers I had to play out of were hard as rock. It would have been worth the price without those issues.
Campestre golf
The first time to play this course. The course was in pretty good condition greens were good fairways had just a few rough spots. Really enjoyed the layout. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hard to find your way into the course if you have never been and parking area is dirt and pretty rough. Overall I enjoyed the day and would recommend to friends.
Can't ask for more!
I've dreamed for years to golf in Cabo and course was everything I hoped it would be. . Excellent conditions, incredible views and very friendly staff..
Enjoyed immensely
Condition of course was outstanding - good greens and soft green fairways - played md day - great practice facilities - nice layout fun holes
Arizona boy
I was skeptical on where to play. This place was amazing awesome views, each hole seemed perfectly manicured. The holes are grand. I would love to play it again.
First Time Impression
Camp Campestre GC was a decent course in Cabo to play. Most of course was in excellent shape. Wide fairways were forgiving, but greens were tough. Views were very nice. New homes dotted most fairways on back 9. Staff was kind and helpful.
Now for some not-so-good things. Golf carts were ridiculous. Had to hold our golf bags in with bungee cord and water cooler holder was broken. All carts were like this. A bb cap was $50 us, a golf shirt was $130 us, and a golf towel was $45 us.
Without a discounted tee time, I would not play this course again.
Over priced
It’s a nice course don’t get me wrong but just not worth the money
Most of the range balls has no dimples on them
The cart we had kept backfiring every time you step on the gas
don't risk it - they don't honor reserved and paid tee times
I booked a tee time 3 months in advance, arrived and checked in at the course 2 hours early and was on the 1st tee 10 minutes early, only to have a "member" take my tee time. When I asked the starter to step in, he said "what do you want me to do..." He told me to just go out as a five-some. On second tee the "members" said I could play ahead and found myself trapped as the only single on a packed golf course. After 2 holes of waiting 10 mins on every shot, I left the course and informed the head pro/manager what transpired and asked for a refund. The manager responded with a similar rude attitude and offered an unusable raincheck. I finally got a full refund after making a scene and then promptly went back to Solmar Gol Links and had a enjoyable later afternoon round, hosted by a warm and welcoming staff, who value their customers. Absolutely don't risk making a tee time at this course. There are nicer places to play in Los Cabos with more professional staff.
Campestre is solid
I’ve played here a few times now, it’s an enjoyable track and generally in good shape. Cabo golf has gotten almost completely unaffordable and prices are up considerably from just last year or two. Campestre in the US would be 80-100 but will run you double, just have to block that out and enjoy. Staff is friendly and the course is fair but tough. Usually my warm up course every trip.
