Flamingos Club de Golf
About
Opened in 1978, Flamingos Gofl Club was the first golf course in the Bay of Banderas and it has since become a local favorite. The course sprawls across a landscape covered with over 1,500 palm trees. There are also hundreds of different trees, including parota and eucalyptus, that frame the challenging greens. The narrow, subtle sloped fairways provide scenic paths that weave through the natural lagoons, estuaries, and marshes. There are nine water hazards and over 40 bunkers that come into play throughout the golf course. The layout will test your target golf skills and good strategizing will be greatly rewarded, which includes not only your ball placement on the fairways but also proper club selection, especially on the holes that are more affected by the strong coastal breezes.

Great value at Holf noe hot deal rate
Condition, layout, weather, services excellent. Greens were slow and not trimmed that day,
Afternoon round, made great time
We were a twosome, starting at 1, in the heat of the day. Having a cart made all the difference, of course. It was our first time playing at Los Flamingos, and we have played at all the course in and around Puerto Vallarta - all of which we like, incidentally. Los Flamingos seemed busier than all except the Nicklaus Course at Vista Vallarta. Course was in good shape, greens slow but consistent, and we got around quickly. There are 5 tees, with good distances. We recommend.
Flamingos Golf Club
This course could be so nice but is not properly maiantained. Practice area: putting - flags do not stay in straight as holes need to be cleaned out. Driving range: charge $390 pesos EACH to hit balls if you are not playing - ridiculous! We bought a package & practice should be included. Having paid $46 to play today was reasonable but I have paid much more (only because it is close to our hotel) and it is not worth more. PV and area need to lower their prices more to Canada/US rates, then the courses would be packed, all staff would make way more money in tips & they would sell more golf attire. Business model needs some thought behind it. Would recommend ONLY at lower rate.
Back 9 Better Than Front!
For a $50 Hot Deal, course was in decent condition. The front 9 was slighting boring and muddy. The back 9 had a better lay out and more scenic. Pace of play was good until I got caught behind a 4-some, 2-some, and 3-some. Managed to finish in 3 hours still. If you can get a deal great, I wouldn't pay full price to play.
best value in puerto vallarta
Very hot I was the only one on the course .
Very nce
good public course
For a discounted price, it can't be beat. I would never pay full price. Great pace of play because it's mostly empty. Greens are slow and bumpy. Sand traps inconsistent : some have 1/2 inch of sand and others 3-4 inches. Great layout.
Not a bad course
We golfed this course several times during October. Played 18 holes in approximately 3 to 3 and a half hours. The fairways and greens weren’t bad at all. The price was great. We would play it again.
Open fairways
Nice course, convenient to the resorts. Price is reasobable, check for hot deals. Plays like a good public course.
Flamingo with broken wing
For the $29 green fee including cart, this hot deal was worth it. Many better courses in the area however. Normal listed green fee of $180 is a joke
Great deal for right price.
Have played Flamingos before and the overall condition this time was vastly improved. Greens still quite slow and bumpy but overall a great deal if you can get a good price to play (stated or published costs would be overpriced). Nice course layout.
rainy season
Got a good deal from golf now 30 dollars for a round-buggy and range balls had to pay a little extra as not a member of golf now.
Course can be a bit pricey without a deal and to be honest not worth the higher prices.
We were teamed up with Margi and Ron from Texas very good company on the course.
Found the fairways a bit soft as the rainy season and the greens a bit slow.
Overall not a bad course with some really well designed holes well worth a visit if you get a deal.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Best value in PV
Found an afternoon tee time steal at $25/person including cart and range balls. Course was in good shape. Greens very slow but everything was in top condition.
Couple items to note. Each person must have their own set of clubs. Rental rates will run you $50/person. You also have to have a forecaddie (which was unnecessary on all but one hole, $20 for the group plus tip) bring lots of golf balls, water and jungle will eat them up. It is hot in the afternoon lots of water and Gatorade needed. But we played in 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Good Course
The course is nice and I play it about 8 times a year. What is needed is water available on many holes. There are two small water bottles in an ice bucket but they do not last past hole 4.
Good course, the bunkers are not soft,
Very good for the value.
Lovely layout
Course very well laid out, greens hard to read cups were a little worn the first time I played this course, as I presume they are only changed every 3 days or so due to the heat.
When chipping onto the green you have to chip to the pin as there is not much run and it will lost stop immediately.
Reception, starter we're very friendly and informative.
In all a very pleasurable experience.
Best Value Course in Puerto Vallarta
Golfed here the fist time and have had really good experiences playing this coarse several time in the last three weeks. There is seldom anyone else on the coarse in the heat of mid-day in July and I enjoy playing at my own pace. The greens are very slow so just hit the putts a bit harder.
There are many mango trees and many birds and other assorted fauna to make things interesting if you are not having the best round.
I have played the Marina course and Vista Vallarta (Nicholas) but keep going back to Flamingos because of the value.
Give it a try and you will have fun here.
Flamingos
Played on a Hot Deal and the course was great. Bring bag because course is lined with mango trees. The greens d fairway were great. Much better than the Marina course. Only thing is it's a distance from main area.
